Energy Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) Plans are required to be updated every five years under Ontario Regulation 507/18. The purpose of these plans is to describe the Township’s energy conservation goals and objectives, as well as the current measures.

The Strategic Plan is a roadmap for success, designed to guide decision-making and investments over the next several years, ensuring decisions made today set the course for the community’s desired future. The Plan is designed to ensure that the Township fulfills its vision “to grow a progressive community for today and tomorrow,” and contains strategic priorities, goals and initiatives that will help us to achieve our vision over the Council term and beyond.
Four foundational areas of focus have been identified. Council believes these are critical to our success. Key initiatives that are targeted for implementation are organized under the following pillars for change.
