2026 Municipal Election

Municipal elections in Ontario take place every four years, on the fourth Monday of October. Elected municipal officials serve a four-year term. The current term runs from 2022 to 2026.

Unlike provincial or federal elections, candidates in municipal elections do not represent political parties.

The next municipal election will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026.
