Accessibility

The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley is committed to treating all people in a way that
allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and
equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in
a timely manner, and shall do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility
and meeting the accessibility requirements under the AODA.

Accessibility By-law

On December 8th, 2025, Council adopted Accessibility By-law 25-61, which includes the five-year Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (2025–2030), the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (I.A.S.R.) Policy, the Accessibility Customer Service Standards Procedure, and the 2025 Guide to Accessible Documents. These documents outline the Township’s commitment to accessibility and support the creation of accessible information and services.

Accessibility Compliance Report

The Township completes an Accessibility Compliance Report to the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility each year.
