NOTICE TO PASS A BY-LAW TO STOP UP, CLOSE AND CONVEY PORTIONS OF UNOPENED ROAD ALLOWANCE

450 HILLCREST ROAD

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley proposes to enact a By-law to stop up, close and convey portions of the unopened WestPoint Road allowance and unopened pathway adjacent to 446, 448 and 450 Hillcrest Road, within Registered Plan 53.

The travelled portion of WestPoint Road will remain open. A sketch showing the portions of the unopened WestPoint Road allowance and unopened pathway proposed to be stopped up, closed and conveyed is available [here].

The proposed By-law will come before Council for consideration on October 13th at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 6544 New Dublin Rd, Addison, ON, K0E 1A0.

Any person who wishes to comment on, or object to, the proposed By-law may submit written comments to the undersigned Clerk by October 7th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Written submissions, including the name and contact information of the person making them, will form part of the public record and may be included in the Council agenda package made available to the public.
