NOTICE TO PASS A BY-LAW TO STOP UP, CLOSE AND CONVEY A PORTION OF UNOPENED ROAD ALLOWANCE

2558 OLD RED ROAD

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley proposes to enact a By-law to stop up, close and convey portions of the road allowance adjoining 2558 Old Red Road, described as follows:

Parts 2, 3 and 4 on Reference Plan 28R-16233, being portions of the road allowance between Lot 18 and Centre Common Lot.

Part 5 on Reference Plan 28R-16233 is not proposed to be closed or conveyed and will remain under the control of the Township.

The proposed By-law will come before Council for consideration on October 13th at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 6544 New Dublin Rd, Addison, ON, K0E 1A0.

Any person who wishes to comment on, or object to, the proposed By-law may submit written comments to the undersigned Clerk by October 7th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Written submissions, including the name and contact information of the person making them, will form part of the public record and may be included in the Council agenda package made available to the public.
