Notice of Public Information Centre - Lyn Creek Bridge Replacement Municipal Class Environmental Assessment

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville are undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) for the replacement of the Lyn Creek Bridge located on Main Street within the Village of Lyn, approximately 110m south of the intersection of Main Street and Perth Street.

The project is being carried out as a Schedule ‘B’ undertaking under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process, which applies to municipal infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water, and wastewater systems. The study will evaluate potential bridge replacement alternatives and consider associated environmental impacts within the study area.

Public, agency, and stakeholder consultation is an important component of the Environmental Assessment process. A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held to provide additional information about the project, outline the study process, and receive comments and feedback from the public.
