It's Time to Renew Your Burn Permit

Residents are reminded that burn permits must be renewed for the 2026 season.

If you plan to burn brush or other permitted materials, please ensure your burn permit is valid before burning. Burn permits must be renewed annually and are required throughout the Township. Permits can be renewed online at ek.burnpermits.com.

In addition, residents must call the toll-free burn notification line 1-844-749-2876 each time they plan to burn, even if they already hold a valid permit. This helps ensure safe burning conditions and keeps emergency services informed.

Please remember to follow all permit conditions and local fire safety regulations. Burning is only permitted when weather and conditions are suitable.
