Current conditions along the St. Lawrence River
Water levels remain above seasonal averages due to a wet spring and increased runoff. While levels are well below historic highs, residents along the river may experience localized flooding in low-lying areas, particularly during periods of strong wind.
Water levels are expected to peak later this spring, though this may change depending on future weather.
Residents are encouraged to:
- Monitor conditions in their area
- Take precautions if located in flood-prone or shoreline areas
- Stay informed through local updates
