Council Resolution No. 140‑26: AL TO High‑Speed Rail

The Council of the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley has adopted Resolution No. 140‑26, formally opposing the ALTO high-speed rail project in its current form.

While Council recognizes the national objective of improving passenger rail service, significant concerns remain regarding the proposed route through Eastern Ontario and the potential impacts on rural municipalities, including Elizabethtown-Kitley.
