Fire Stations in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township

The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley is served by three strategically located fire stations, ensuring quick and efficient response times across the community. Each station plays a vital role in protecting residents and maintaining safety.

Fire Station 1

Location: 44 Main St. E, Lyn, ON K0E 1M0

  • The first Station 1 was built in 1963 in the center of Lyn on lands donated by Elizabethtown's first Fire Chief Dave McCrady. (Recently demolished in 2025)
  • Current Fire Station 1 opened in 2003.
  • Station 1 houses two rescue vehicles for medical response, auto extrication and rescue operations.  Pumper 1, Tanker 1, and Tanker 4 for fire suppression.  
  • The Station contains six bays, a training room for meetings and training sessions, a kitchenette facility, as well as a radio room and three offices.


Fire Station 2

Location: 7519 New Dublin Rd, Addison, ON K0E 1A0

  • Original Station 2 was a two bay garage located where the current Council Chambers in New Dublin are.
  • Current Station 2 was built in 1994 and opened in 1995.  
  • Station 2 has four large bays that houses Pumper 2 and Tanker 2 for fire suppression along with a pickup truck for medical response. 


Fire Station 3

Location: 410 County Rd 29, Toledo, ON K0E 1H0

  • Station 3 is the newest station, having been built in 2021 and officially opening in 2022.
  • This station replaced the former hall located in Frankville, which was originally built in 1966 and later renovated in 1970.
  • This station houses Rescue 3 equipped for medical response, auto extrication, and rescue operations. Pumper 3 and Tanker 3 for fire suppression one Parade Pumper and a Personnel Transportation Vehicle (Truck #3). The Station contains six bays, a training room for meetings and training sessions, a kitchenette facility, as well as a radio room and two offices in 5000sqft.
